A rude shock for the Television Industry

The television industry was shocked when they heard the news of “Imagine TV” being shut down. The employees were given this information by the Managing Director of the company on 12th of April. Within a couple of hours, an official statement was released which stated that the business operations were ceased with effect from that day itself.


For many people, this was the darkest hour as they will not have jobs for a while. Tara Sharma from the “The Tara Sharma Show Ek Nayi Maa Ka Safar” is shocked as her serial was aired on this channel.


Producer of “Gyaan Guru”, Siddharth Kumar Tewary states that the decision of shutting down a business has never been easy. This decision has definitely been quite shocking for all the people.


Vishal Karwal who played the role of Lord Krishna in “Dwarkadheesh” is quite unhappy and is of the opinion that a notice period should have been given before the decision was announced.


However, the channel has promised that all the dues will be cleared. Rakhi Sawant said that she had brought the channel to a good position due to her “Swayamvar”, but the channel turned upside down, due to Veena Malik.

‘Veena Ka Swayamvar’ comes to a standstill!

After the news of “Imagine TV” shutting down, it created a hassle. We reported earlier that the channel authorities have been asked to cease their business operations. And following it is the news of much hyped show that was to start on the channel in few months.


The much talked about reality show “Veena Ka Swayamvar” that created quite a buzz has been cancelled. It is quite obvious that after the operations of the channel have been ceased, the show too has come to a sudden halt. The reports suggest Veena’s reality show will not see the light of the day now.


It has happened as stated by the higher authorities that the Imagine TV failed to garner ample number of viewership and so it has been asked to shut down. Not only this, Veena Malik who was to star in “Veena Ka Swayamvar” was even rumored to have been paid a huge amount of money for the show well in advance. Well, we hope that this sudden jolt makes a way out of the trouble soon!
