The television industry was shocked when they heard the news of “Imagine TV” being shut down. The employees were given this information by the Managing Director of the company on 12th of April. Within a couple of hours, an official statement was released which stated that the business operations were ceased with effect from that day itself.

However, the channel has promised that all the dues will be cleared. Rakhi Sawant said that she had brought the channel to a good position due to her “Swayamvar”, but the channel turned upside down, due to Veena Malik.
